Flores for the Immaculate Conception

Eager to sprout, this rose bush is, so much so, it could be a flos Carmeli. It is, instead, a glorious flos Andrewsi, or perhaps Andrewsensis. While I am here in Andrews, I am reminded of what we sang at the end of Holy Mass above the Cave of Elijah on Mount Carmel:
