When Yahweh Elohim continues His reprimand of Satan in Genesis 3:15, He speaks of the “Seed of the Woman”, with that Woman referring not to the wife of Adam, but to the future Mother of the Redeemer, the future Mother of the Seed. That her Seed is different from that of Adam means that she must be apart, set aside from the original sin of Adam. She is, then, immaculately conceived, an utter transformation in grace wrought at the first moment of her conception, an event spoken of by the angel Gabriel in Luke 1:28. It is because of this that her battle with Satan is set apart from all other battles: “I will put enmity between you and the Woman, between your seed and her Seed.” She is the glorious warrior Woman in Genesis 3:15, the same Woman at Cana in Galilee, the same Woman under the Cross, the same woman in the Apocalypse. We we will need more “flores” to speak about those mentions of the this same Woman! Stay tuned.
