Rats. My favorite Delta pilot is on leave

He’s the best. Which should be an indication that these other guys are the best as well. But if everyone is the best, is there really a best?

Saint Teresa of Avila says to let everything remind you of God. In the spiritual life there is a best of course, our blessed Mother. After that, its whatever God has called us to and whatever we’ve cooperated with. But once on heaven, we are perfect and the perfect there is perfect for everyone. There’s no getting tired of that perfect because the perfection of God is then within all.

It works the other way too. The saints would fight about who was the greatest sinner. I am. No, I am. Etc. But we all are the worst if we have sinned in any way because God also loves us individually. Any sin offends that individual love more than any sin of someone else. I am also the worst. Pretty cool, huh?

  4. So are we the best of the worst or the worst of the best? Or both? :-) God speed dear father. Glad you made it. Told you it wouldn’t be so bad. I will be in constant prayer for you while you are gone. May your guardian angels be on high alert and the Holy Spirit guide all your thoughts and actions. Say hello to the Holy Father for me! Blessings.
