Four stops this morning. The first was at the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization. Just inside was this great poster of the two patron saints for this Year of Mercy.
The Missionaries of Mercy each had a package with plenty of goodies inside:
Schedule, badge, tickets. There was also a confessional stole for each of us, which we will also use to concelebrate the Ash Wednesday Mass with Pope Francis.
There was much more. But I’ll put that in another post.
Stop 2 was at the Casa Santa Maria, by surprise. I met up with a wonderful priest of priests, a long time friend, high up in the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta.
Stop 3 was at the PIB once again. The famous AULA VII. GITMO by another name…
Stop 4 was next to the gendarmes between San Carlo and Santa Marta of Vatican City. Not that I was going anywhere. But that’s when THE CALL came in. The next 33 minutes were spent plotting logistics about THE MEETING, which will take place earlier in the day on Wednesday. Volemose bene, no?
