Priests are married.
Priests are married to the Church.
Priests are married to the Church by the Sacrifice they offer.
Priests must get to know that their marriage vows are the Consecrations:
- This is my body given for you…
- My blood poured out for you…
If there are problems with marriage praxis, it is because priests especially have lost their identity of being married to the Church by the Sacrifice they offer. The response of describing the ugly state of marriage praxis through the lens of priests without identity, will only get one a description of marriage praxis based on no identity.
The faith that we have of the marriage of priests with the Church must be resurrected. Where the marriage of priests go, that is where the marriage of a man and a woman will go.
Instead, we need good vocations who, despite seeing these difficulties of the Church, will follow the call of Christ Jesus.
Arise! Let us be going! Let yourself be nailed to the cross! Come, Holy Spirit!
