“I’m tired of Father George”

“That’s it. That’s all we have to say.”

Imagine if Jesus said that about any of us.

We all crucified Him with our sin, original sin and our own rubbish.

I’m thankful He hasn’t given up on me. With Him, I don’t want to give up on anyone else.

Isaiah 7:13 comes to mind. We all should be careful. The question does, (ahem) arise in my mind; whom do we weary?

Yikes what a terrible thought! Jesus is the only One who can take us past that Angel with the fiery versatile Sword.

Once in an exchange with a Judas in my life, I cried “I can’t condemn you, or I will be condemned!”

    Substitute ‘forget’ for ‘condemn’?

Good reminder, Father Byers. Back to praying for enemies, and other people who are tired of us (and vice versa). Through Him, with Him, and in Him.

I finally “get” this post now, I don’t read other websites during the week except CatholicCulture.org, the BBC for secular news, and this blog, but now that I am catching up on this website I see where this post came from.
