Flowers for the Immaculate Conception (Holy See and Swiss Guard edition)

A Green-Thumb Lady of the parish has removed the other flower buckets and replaced them with white Geraniums and Blue somethingorothers for our Lady, along with some flowers signifying one of her special prayer intentions, the successor of Peter and the Holy See, the yellow and white flowers in the lower right (those being the colors of the flag of the Holy See).  On the corner of the yard she added what she calls Swiss Guard flowers in honor of our Lady, as they are the color of the uniforms of the Swiss Guard. Because of the angle of the sun right now I couldn’t get a shot with the papal flag and the statue of Mary in background, but, in the future… Here’s a closeup:

I’m sure that the Swiss Guard are also a prayer intention close to the heart of our Lady. It’s wise to share her special intentions. To that end: Hail Mary…
