We are Thankful for all you do Father George. You minister to people, convey Jesus’s love to fellow man by example and there at the time needed to comfort others.
So I say this with my heart, may God bless you and keep you forever.
Thank you for all you do.

And thank you, Father, for recording your homilies! I love that you capture the Alleluia. It prepares me for the Gospel as I cross both time and space to be with you and Jesus for your Homily.

I’m thankful that although due to some church restoration work there was no noon Mass however went and found my spiritual director and he heard my confession which I needed so much, and this confession was half an hour if not the better part of an hour due to him trying to teach me, basically, some spiritual warfare, not me rambling on, I thank God for this priest. Then my great good fortune about there not being a noon Mass continued as I attend a random (Ruthenian?) Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom at the ELC Lutheran church where there is normally Latin Novus Ordo Mass at 5pm. My spiritual director who doesn’t actually know the Divine Liiturgy concelebrated. In the 2 pews in front of me were a bunch of beautiful habited religious sisters and directly in front of me my orthodox Jewish friend Micah who was pretty into the liturgy and kept asking questions to the beautiful habited religious sister he was sitting next to, who knows him. After Holy Communion when the sisters were all sitting kneeling on their heels making their thanksgiving (maybe that is not what you do at Divine Liturgy, I don’t really recall) he plopped down on the floor next to sister and pulled out his book of the psalms in Hebrew and started quietly saying them. After Mass a college age girl explained she has been traveling around to college campuses as a member of a missionary group with the priest that said the Divine Liturgy and then together with other students they are going to the Holy Land for 3 months, concluding with Christmas in Bethlehem. It is called Community of the Beatitudes or something and they run the church in Emmaus. I heard Micah speaking happily in Hebrew with the priest. He said Happy New Year to me in Hebrew and then told me what he said in English, I said Happy New Year and Shalom. Happy New Year and Shalom to you too Fr George. I actually love giving for the support of the Church/priests. I am just limited in what I have. I think I enjoy giving as poor person more than wealthier friends enjoy it. But also like the holy women giving to Jesus, I simply love Jesus, and so I love feeding and taking care of Him in the ways there are to do so. All my feeding and care are from Him really so it is like the presents children give to their parents which often enough were things their parents first gave to them.
