Pontifical Family Humor – Tell Popes what you think, you know, frankly

just me pontifical family

Such a Jackass

A couple of points:

  • Enjoying a bit of humor, if not levity, is very Catholic.
  • I count two donkeys depicted here, don’t you?

Coming up soon I will be departing for some old stomping grounds. I will have to start packing in earnest.

  • If you had a chance to tell Pope Francis something before he retires (if he does), what would it be?
  • If you had a chance to tell Pope Emeritus Benedict something before he dies, what would it be?

Comments are moderated. I probably won’t publish any comments for this post. Be as frank, so to speak, as you want.

Father – Rome is under a blanket of snow at present. Impressive photos on the website of ‘Catholic Herald.’ If this is your old stomping ground then be prepared for cold weather!

I hope that you will be posting some more chapters SOON, I am starting to have withdrawal symptoms.

I’d tell them both the same thing. I love you and am praying for you.

  4. Same as Nan from me!

I pray the Rosary with Papa Benedict while on a long commute (with headlights always on!) He blesses me after the Litany. Please tell him we love him, and pray for him, and ask him to send us his blessings on this side and later on the other, much better side.

I would beg our Holy Father Francis to consecrate Russia to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart as she asked back in 1917. I would ask Emeritus Pope Benedict to pray for me and the world.
