Escape after the meeting

After the meeting, since I wanted to pray at Saint Peter’s tomb, I was allowed to escape without ever going outside. The security lines are still long. Ah yes, there he is, in the “Confession”…

Finally, outside, and having checked out the bookstore, there was this guy:

He can barely stand up. He looks as old as I feel right now.

I’m walking a lot. I’m in Anzio right now. WWII stuff.

I wonder if you could hire a mobility scooter to get about. They do the job of a wheelchair but are configured like a motor scooter.

Already at the train station waiting for the train back to Rome. The museums were closed but I got sand and pics!
