Requiem eternam, dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei, requiescant in pace. Amen.

I added my prayers to yours, Father. Thank you for helping us “to pray unceasingly.”

So many die in war, their lives damaged or unnecessarily cut short, and it need not be. War is punishment for sin as Our Lady highlighted at Fatima. If only we lived as we ought.
Most world leaders ignore God and with the help of academia and the media push for a “brotherhood of man” without Jesus Christ. It didn’t work in the French Revolution and it won’t now. Such is demonic, offends God and can only lead to more war and blood-shed.
My grandfather joined the army at 16 years of age in 1915 and fought in France in the muddy and bloody trenches of Ypres and thereabouts. It was hell on earth or at least as close as most get to experiencing hell while still in this life. Our leaders said it was “the great war for civilisation” and “the war to end all wars”. It wasn’t.
Wars won’t cease until the worship of man is replaced everywhere with the worship of God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
