Scroll down that link on lifesite and listen till you get to the part about going to Confession. Wow. Very awesome indeed.
Also, a priest friend of many decades in India sent me this link, which is exhaustive commentary on the subject in these Coronavirus times:
Canon Law Made Easy just published a new post named “Can We Be Required to Receive Communion in the Hand, Because of the Virus?” Check it out! You can view the full article here:

Father George, This comment is not directed at you.
Do people not remember that the Consecrated Host is our Lord Jesus Christ, in his real flesh and blood veiled as bread! Or the consecrated wine is the real Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus is REAL in the consecrated Host and Wine. And we are worrying that WE will get a disease receiving our Lord Jesus Christ? It is so incredible the unfaithfulness and unlovingness of our treatment of the Lord. We are denying Him. I don’t understand why church authorities are going along with this deplorable behaviour. Why are the Bishops “giving us permission?” to not receive Jesus and his blessings and healing. Why? By their actions, it’s almost as though they don’t believe that Jesus is real in the Eucharist? I hope this isn’t the case. Why do people receive communion for the sick? Is it because JESUS HEALS and strengthens us?
These are incredibly sad times and we need to examine our hearts. Do we truly love Jesus and do we believe in the Truth? Do we believe that the consecrated Host and Wine is the True and Living Jesus?
May God have mercy on us all!
I agree with you 100% Catherine. These are indeed sad and confusing times.
Perhaps by receiving Holy Communion, Our Lard will spare us from the virus.
Jesus I trust in You!
Ditto what Joisy Goil said.
” Why are the Bishops “giving us permission?” to not receive Jesus and his blessings and healing. Why? By their actions, it’s almost as though they don’t believe that Jesus is real in the Eucharist? ”
This is a just question. The hardness of men’s hearts caused Moses to do a similar thing.
