I apologise in advance that the following is a long comment.
As previously mentioned, the Portuguese bishops are consecrating their nation to the Sorrowful Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary at Fatima this evening, Portuguese time. They have invited the Bishops’ Conferences of the world to join with them in order that the whole world be consecrated. However, looking online I cannot find news of many countries doing so. If that is the case, I guess the next best thing is for individuals, families and parishes to unite their prayer with those going up from Fatima. I have found where I think will be streaming the proceedings live from Fatima. That link below.

Everyone who reads here probably has a consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary that they renew regularly. Following is one that I would like to share. It was written by a Church approved mystic, Berthe Petit last century.

“Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, dwelling pure and holy, cover my soul with your maternal protection so that being ever faithful to the Voice of Jesus, it responds to His love and obeys His Divine Will. I wish, O, my Mother, to keep unceasingly before me your co-redemption in order to live intimately with your Heart that is totally United to the Heart of your Divine Son. Fasten me to this Heart by your own virtues and sorrows. Protect me always. Amen.”

    Our Lord told Berthe Petit:
“It is co-redemption that My Mother was above all great … by consecration to the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of My Mother, the Church shall be uplifted and the world renewed.”

I have my test results back. Thankfully I don’t have Covid-19 but Para-influenza. I pray that we will all get through this pandemic safely.

Thank God you don’t have the Covid-19. I will pray you beat the Para-influenza quickly.

Would you please pray for my Sister-in-Law? She was operated on today because she broke her leg Friday. She had an operation for a fractured pelvis about three weeks ago.

Her health is really precarious because she had a lung transplant 12 years ago and the anti-rejection drugs she had to take all these years are now taking their toll. Her bones are weak, her immunity low, organs are breaking down and she is afraid and alone, (since my brother is not allowed in the hospital). My brother could use a prayer too – he’s so worried about her.

      Thanks and God bless.

Thank you for your prayers Joisy Girl.
Your poor brother and sister-in-law! Yes, I will certainly pray for them, and for you too that you and yours will not become victims of this horrible pandemic.
