As a priest, even in Covid-19 times, I deal really a lot with the elderly, and there are certain signs of dementia that are simply unmistakable, especially when there are so very many of those indicators.
I see Joe Biden’s face and I immediately surmise that he’s suffering dementia, and I’m angry with his handlers who couldn’t care less about his welfare, but rather make of him a useful puppet. That’s elder abuse.
Go ahead and add the thousand some other indicators of dementia for old Joe, but, for me, it’s the face. In his acceptance speech his brow was so frozen, so like Styrofoam. That’s always the way when it gets advanced.
Speaking of Biden, I was thoroughly shocked by his statement “there is mo miracle coming!” What kind of Catholic says that? His intent was to attack the POTUS’ claim that the virus would “go away,” sure, but why that choice of words?
Why couldn’t he have said “It is not going to magically go away” instead? Biden came off, to me, as mocking God.
