And, mind you, this is within living memory of the Holocaust. I don’t even know where to begin with how maliciously ignorant this scripted text of West Wing is. Everything is taken out of context that full on hatred of all religion must be the pretext.
Today, fake Catholics like Wuhan Joe are bashing believing Catholics, taking texts in the New Testament out of context to provide self-serving pretext for an anti-Catholic Kristallnacht.
As Bill Donohue says, “The Equality Act has two major goals: it would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to include sexual orientation and gender identity to the definition of sex; it would also undermine the Religious Freedom Restoration Act by allowing gay rights to trump religious rights.” Get that?
Bible burning to ensue, both Testaments. Burning of churches will happen at the same time, sometimes with congregants inside, being burned to death. This happens. A priest friend of mine recounted the day the flames were to come to his parish church. Miracles followed, but not for everyone in that hell.
Hellish attitudes are all around us, just waiting to be unleashed. No one cares, because they think it can’t happen.
“Can’t happen…” Tell this to Jesus’ good mom:

Yep. Anyone who says “It cannot happen.” Has not been paying attention to both the past and present.
What can anyone say except the Quakers once said, “The world is mad except for me and thee. And, sometimes, I wonder about thee.”
