Pope Leo XIII, who really should be Canonized a Saint, gave warnings of our present day. He was a prophet. God permitted him the foreknowledge so that we might be prepared to pray and do penance and remain in God’s good favor. We do not heed these warnings until, like the ancient Hebrews, we find ourselves in such dire straits we are forced to return to God for relief from our venal stupidity. Please God, aid your flock.
