The problem with shadow banning is that it trains techies to make abstractions out of real people, kinda like porn, where a real person, ever so complex and “evolving” as they say, is “objectified”, so that such a person is not longer a subject but merely now an object to be manipulated:

The one banning real people or the one creating the algorithm bot that trashes real people might well think he has all the tools at hand to deal the death of cancelling others, thinking he has everyone figured out with his prestidigitations of person-targeting-gaming-theory, not realizing that they are the ones being reduced to less than nothing by such attacks on what were once considered fellow human beings, not realizing that they are the ones being played by their own higher-ups in the tech industry, who are themselves being played by the money that thinks it can buy the commodity of power-cut-off-from-justice and service.
And all this, of course, cancels everyone. Not that those doing the cancelling care as long as they get a few bucks to survive from day to day as society goes down, taking everyone including the cancellers with it.
And that’s how porn works. There’s the abstraction, the objectification, the cancelation, and the reduction of self to less than nothing, wrecking the entirety of society.
Interesting how the largest tech companies are simultaneously the largest purveyors of both porn and the cancellation of their fellow human beings.
Oh! Wait! Let’s take into consideration the Disinformation Governance Board, that advisory board of the United States Department of Homeland Security. That’s why I’m being shadow-banned.
To some Animal Farm and 1984 are how-to manuals.
Spiritual rabies.
You can say that again, sanfelipe007.
