This hits close to home, because this is in the territory of my diocese (a five hour trip one way from my parish, though). I bet there will be some priest who is brought out of retirement to be the Catholic Chaplain, as about 100% of those kids are Catholic, right? I gotta wonder how much Catholic Charities has been, is now, or will soon be involved with all of this:

God, protect those children! This is a potential disaster in the making, especially with the “or other sponsors” being part of the picture.

This is another example of the evil that is foisted upon well meaning people who contribute to what seems like a good cause. Especially since the bishops are encouraging this.
Is there no concern for our (and their own) immortal souls? Are they shepherds or demons in disguise?
