Sacred Tradition, the provision of living faith by the Holy Spirit to each soul in a univocal manner in Old and New Testament times is always fully consonant with the content of Old and New Testaments. The authentic, dogmatic interventions of the Sacred Magisterium of the Church, cum Petro et sub Petro, are also precisely consistent with the ever constant provision of the faith and the morality which shines forth from that faith.
It is not supernatural faith, eternal truth, which is changed or bettered, but rather our meager understanding of the same truth. But we can never move from, say, (1) Thou shalt not murder the innocent to (2) Who gives a damn, go ahead and murder the innocent, you know, because we think we’re clever and sophisticated and above all “nice.”
Dear Pope Francis, you use the analogy of a tree, but this can refer exclusively, in an absolute manner, only to our philosophical appreciation of the Natural Law, to our theological appreciation of Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the authentic, dogmatic intervention of the Sacred Magisterium of the Church. You equation of Divine Revelation and human theologizing was the violence by which Martin Luther assailed and persecuted the Lord’s Little Flock. The Council of Trent rejected that Tradition was the work of human hands, saying only quasi per manus, almost as if by hand. Instead the Fathers of that Great Council pointed to the Holy Spirit. Is that bad and evil, Pope Francis. Are we to say that the Holy Spirit is to be damned in favor of the “spirit” of the [Second Vatican] Council?
The Lord Jesus, the Word Incarnate, is ever ancient, ever new. There is no development in His Divinity. He’s the One, the only One, not you. The Lord’s Little Flock has no need of self-absorbed, Promethean, neo-Pelagian destroyers who promote idol worship and the destruction of the image of God, destroying man-woman-marriage-family, and then destroying the marriage feast of the Lamb, the Last Supper and Calvary, rejecting the Law of Prayer, which is that very Sacrifice of the Mass.
The tree I embrace is the unbending, rigid Cross of Calvary. Any religion which rejects the Cross as the one and only Tree of Life is no religion at all. I belong to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I am a priest forever. You can excommunicate me on this earth. You can dismiss me from the clerical state. I would hate both of those actions of yours. I would never do those things willingly. But you cannot excommunicate me from heaven. You cannot take away my Baptism, my Confirmation, my Holy Orders.
You can keep your damn Green New Deal, Pope Francis.
I’ll stay with the entirely dead Cross of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Divine Son of the Immaculate Conception, the same yesterday, today and forever, the Almighty.
HERE’S THE DEAL: Pope Francis, you are always speaking of doing things differently, that making things different is where we all need to be, but goodness and kindness and justice and mercy based on justice and Truth are always the same. You are caught up in a maelstrom of Hegelian-Rahnerianism. Pope Francis, how about instead confirming the brethren in the faith. How about the real unity of the Blood of Divine Son of the Immaculate Conception. Why do you persecute Jesus’ Little Flock?
AND: Galatians 2:11.
