Since way back in the 1970s I got to know a certain priest in my parish, Father Paul Marx. He’s the guy who founded The Human Life Center, which, elsewhere, became Human Life International. While I was doing some studies across the pond, he retired and made it known, without however, having any executive power, that he wanted me to be his successor. Meetings were set up at which I made it clear that I simply won’t compromise. That attitude was intolerable to the new weakness. That was decades ago. Things haven’t changed.
At that time I made an analysis of the appendix to the medical ethics policy of the US Bishops Conference at the time and sent it to a major conservative Catholic publication, trashing the Bishops presentation of cooperation in evil, which was to define sophistically what is forbidden formal cooperation as permissible remote cooperation. The famous editor wouldn’t publish it, however, saying that his friend, a Catholic priest, with whom he went to the same university was presently rationalizing abortion in Catholic hospitals, and my article would effectively contradict his friend’s policy for the Catholic hospital systems in his diocese. So, protecting friendship so as to promote murder.
I sent my own analysis of the Bishops’ policy permitting formal cooperation in murder to the Ratzinger’s CDF. It was passed on the moral theologian who then passed it up the ladder. The result was that the Holy See (it had to be Pope John Paul II) forced the USCCB to reverse their own ethical guidelines for the combination of state and church hospitals, forcing the USCCB, furthermore, to publish their recant, to the point of condemning bishops who followed previous guidelines and commanding those bishops to reverse everything they have done in view of the older guidelines.
That was all under John Paul II and, of course, Benedict XVI kept up the new status quo. The new more reasonable status quo continued up to the time of Bergoglio. Then all hell broke out. It was now all back to calling evil as good, formal cooperation with evil as permissible material remote cooperation.
The moral criterion that is used by the clever murderers is a lie. The bishops say that if only one tries to minimize the perception of anyone that they, the bishops, are doing evil, well, that minimization will make the actual murder into something permissible, indeed, laudable. “Did anyone notice our murder of babies in the womb? No? Great, we’re good to go!”
I was directed to speak to a certain moral theologian about all this, and he told me, Catholic priest that he was, about babies in the womb being murdered by chemical morning-after-pills. He cynically asked me: “It’s so small, so who’s going to notice anyway? So, whatever.”
At that point, I decided to speak to the icon of orthodoxy moral theologian in the USA at the time, Monsignor that he was, and he cynically asked me: “What do you want us to do, George, close the doors of all the Catholic hospitals? We need government money.”
Decades later, HLI is now rationalizing the mass murder of babies in the womb with all the clever sophistry that turns evil into good:
“Oooo! Let’s use multisyllabic words like formal and material, proximate and remote, and add some others like mediate and immediate, and, like, stuff, you know, and confuse people so that they go ahead and get the “vaccine”, because, like, that’s politically correct right now.”
Well, I’m not confused, not yesterday, not today. Murderers and liars from the beginning don’t fool me at all. I’ve written ad nauseam on this. Here’s just a couple of posts which attack some of HLI’s rubbish even when I wasn’t at all following anything HLI was doing whatsoever. When they went weak, I lost interest.

To protect the innocent and to give plenty of logistical space to accusers to hang themselves all the more violently, the content of this post will refrain from reciting some ferocious truths and the most biting of ironies.
It seems that reference has been made by those considering themselves to be friends of the CDC and friends of directors of health policies that attorneys will now be contacted to… stop yours truly… from speaking to immoral mask and “vaccine” policies.
It seems that there are those in the world who don’t like my Covid policy for those assisting at Holy Mass. They want to stop me altogether, perhaps have me put in prison.
What’s my Covid policy? Glad you asked. I’ve repeatedly, intensely, clearly indicated the points of my policy over recent years, and I’m happy to repeat it yet again, and if I’m given a momentary world-stage to proclaim this policy, I will rejoice:
The bishop has granted a dispensation from the obligation to assist at Holy Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of obligation. He’s not forbidding you to come to Mass. He’s just saying that it’s your decision as to whether you come to Mass. For my part, I’m going to be saying Holy Mass at the Altar of Sacrifice alone with Jesus, but the doors of the Church will happen to be open. If you choose to come to Mass, you can wear a mask or not. There are medical reasons not to wear a mask, such as having asthma. I’m not going to embarrass anyone whenever they come into church without a mask and force them to explain how it is that they’ve come in without a mask. I’m not a police officer and neither the Church nor the State can make me an enforcement officer forbidding people to fulfill their first amendment rights to free exercise of religion. Also, if you see non-social distancing, like twenty people in a six person pew, it might be that those people belong to one or two families who happen all to live in the same trailer. I’m not going to embarrass them and force them to explain this to people every time they come to church. It’s legal not to socially distance when you live in the same house.
That’s from memory, but I can definitely swear that that’s verbatim, or words very close to that effect. I said it so very many times, also repeating all that to the bishop, who, I’m sure, will be happy to be subpoenaed along with my parishioners just to establish that fact. :-) So, this is for the record.
But what is it that world-class agitators want me to say? Well, I’m no mind reader, so that’s hard to say. But it might actually be a disagreement not so much about masks, which the CDC is continuously ambiguous and inconsistent about, but rather about the “vaccines.” From the get-go, I’ve been extremely clear about the objectively mortally sinful immorality of pharmaceutical laboratories strapping a woman onto a gurney so as to rip an absolutely healthy, absolutely developed baby fully alive in the womb out of the woman, so that it’s now screaming, getting lots of oxygen into its organs and, without anesthesia, ripping the living, healthy organs out of the baby while it screams, the kidneys, the pancreas, the lungs, the eyes… all for research, development, and testing all along the way, you know, full on murder for the “benefit” of adults, that is, for the bank accounts of big pharma.
Jesus said, what you’ve done to the least of these, you’ve done to me. Jesus was also in the womb of His dearest Immaculate Mother for nine months. Do you think His wrath will not be great against those who have sacrificed babies for themselves? Here’s Jesus, a couple of cells big, in the womb of His Mother, while John the Baptist, in the womb of his mother, is already six months old:
And while all this has to do also with Natural Law, I might remind interested parties what Saint Paul VI stated early on in the last encyclical of his pontificate, published near the beginning of his pontificate, Humanae vitae:
“No member of the faithful could possibly deny that the Church is competent in her magisterium to interpret the natural moral law. It is in fact indisputable, as Our predecessors have many times declared, (1) that Jesus Christ, when He communicated His divine power to Peter and the other Apostles and sent them to teach all nations His commandments, (2) constituted them as the authentic guardians and interpreters of the whole moral law, not only, that is, of the law of the Gospel but also of the natural law. For the natural law, too, declares the will of God, and its faithful observance is necessary for men’s eternal salvation. (3)

And here’s what Saint Pio of Pietrelcina thought about all this, he having sent a letter on Humanae vitae to Saint Paul VI less than two months after it was published and less than two weeks before Padre Pio died. Humanae vitae was against contraception, to be sure, but also against abortifacients and abortion. Paul VI responded to Padre Pio, but the response arrived after Pio died:

So, as I say, I don’t know where these people are coming from. Hey! Maybe they just hate me. That’s O.K. What I want for them is that they get close(r) to Jesus and make their way to heaven. And that’s why I have such policies. If I proffered anything else, I think I would go straight to hell. But I want to go to heaven.
To all these people, whether connected in some way to the CDC or to health policy directors, I don’t care if I’m not your friend, but I do want to be the priest for you. I want the best for you. Choose life. Choose heaven.
UPSHOT: for the Catholic Church around the world, it’s not over until it’s over, and that’s not when politicized CDC “science” says it’s over (never) or when local sycophant politicians say it’s over (never), but when the Pope says it’s over (apparently never). That, of course, affects policies also in the Church world-wide. There are both cons and pros to all this.

The central nervous system and the cardiovascular system are most sensitive to acute sodium azide poisoning.
The amount and route of the exposure to sodium azide and the premorbid condition of the exposed person will contribute to the time of onset, duration, and the severity of illness.

They said it, like, definitively: Covid-19 is almost impossible to spread by way of surfaces. They said this, after… what? some billions of dollars were spent on disinfectants, after some billions of man-hours were totally wasted, after untold wrecking of the economy, after millions of lives were shattered with closed businesses, after untold numbers of suicides, lost jobs, lost houses? Did the CDC with the WHO get kickbacks from China? Did they… win…? Do they feel… powerful?
It’s all politics: be scared and vote for the Dems, who say: “We’re the government and we’re here to help you.”
In so many places in the world, for the second year running, Catholic churches were closed down for the Sacred Triduum (Holy Thursday through Easter), from the second before to the second after, because, you know, Covid-19 is only spread in Catholic churches between those exact times. Call me skeptical of the Chinese Communist Party American Demoncrat politicians. Call me an embracer of true science. They are murderers and liars from the beginning.
But I suppose I am to be considered a murderer and liar from the beginning by the American Chinese State, a heretic by those hierarchs in Rome, an excommunicate, you know, for not belonging to the Chinese Communist Party, but most of all for not ever getting any “vaccine.”
The above chart is actually from 2017 and gives advice about respirators in general. It wasn’t generated in response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). How long the virus is able to survive on surfaces (for days or weeks) or in aerosol form (hanging in the air from breathing for minutes or hours traveling in the breeze) is all unknown.
There are scare-tactics used by some on the one side, and the near hysterical smashing down of scare-tactics used by some on the other side. Scare people and it spreads faster as people run. But don’t tell the truth of virility of the virus and people are not careful to take precautions as simple as washing your hands on the other hand.
My own beard and gas mask story. From about the end of June 1989 until about the beginning of February 1990 I was living at the Pontifical Biblical Institute across from the King David Hotel a stone’s throw from the ancient walled city of Jerusalem. Saddam Hussein was lobbing scud missiles at Israel that contained – he said – biological weapons of mass extermination. We were all issued gas masks to avoid breathing in aerosol laden poisons or biological horrors.
I liked having a beard mostly because I was too lazy to shave every day. We were told to tape up our windows to avoid glass shattering from exploding missiles, so I did that. Likewise, we were told to tape up cracks between the doors and the walls of our little rooms, so I did that. We were all ready, with rolls of tape at the ready, to tape up the opening between the door and the door frame the moment a scud missile exploded nearby. The missiles were dropping all over Israel. We had a room that was especially well-sealed and stocked with food and water into which we could seal ourselves for a day or two if need be, if we had the chance to get there before some of the more nervous members of the Biblicum community locked late-comers out of the room much like submariners caught in a leaking chamber are sealed off from escape by their friends so as to save the rest of the crew members in the rest of the submarine.
Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount is Islam’s third most holiest site in the world. We were very close to that, and stupid me, I was trusting in warfare technology of 1990, and, stupid me, I was thinking that Saddam wouldn’t dare throw missiles that would drop around those living near the Temple Mount. I thought that until a scud missile exploded between the Biblical Institute and the King David Hotel, near enough to shake a car outside my window, setting off its alarm, but the tape on my window held.
So I tried to shave my beard, only half successfully, but not good enough for a seal to be made between the gas mask and my mug of a face before the rest of the community were yelling at me to get into their special room.
Now, that’s a different set of circumstances, right? Well, that’s controversial. Those in danger areas are wearing total-seal hazmat gear from head to toe, looking like aliens in space suits. Why oh why would they do that, I wonder. Why would the CDC make a statement against all previous policy for all other viruses and say that the spread of COVID-19 in these USA is inevitable? It’s not the beard chart that surprises me, but the “inevitable” statement.
The Italian government has been cracking down on meetings of people, you know, in churches. Hardly any Ash Wednesday Masses in Italy at the beginning of this Lent. Scare tactics that are political in nature, as there is no crack down on going to stadiums or supermarkets.
Meanwhile, with great malice, the Demoncrats have been playing up scare tactics as a way, they think, to hurt any re-election of Donald Trump. That’s a fright, because scare tactics only encourage faster spread of the virus.
Having said all that, I should also be the priest and say what I always say, people should have their souls in order. Our Lord can call us at any time. Confession! For myself, I’ll go to Confession again later today if I can as the Smokey Mountain Vicariate of the Diocese is meeting up down the road.
If the CDC’s out-of-character statement about “inevitability” comes into play, this priest will be at particular risk:
I’ll attend to the sick and dying with the last rites as long as I’m not forbidden by hospital staff. That would be tough for them since the kind of volunteer level that I enjoy is actually at the level of employee status for our local hospital.
I’ll still accompany our local law enforcement as Police Chaplain. I can only imagine that unstable people will cause trouble with increased home invasions if the inevitability thing closes down supermarkets. It would get a bit chaotic. Can you imagine being on corpse-removal-detail? Blech. I hope any respirators have odor controls.
Having said all that, I have not shaved my beard. Life goes on. I do what I always do. Take note of a recent development – as reported some hours ago – that there may be a way around a year and half wait for a vaccine. It was said that there may be a way to fight this with an anti-viral found to have great success in animals and which may be able to be used forthwith. Maybe. But – hey! – maybe!
Here’s the deal: We’re no longer meant for this world. Our home is to be in heaven. We’re in exile here. Worst case scenario with COVID-19 may be a ticket to heaven. Not bad, that.
But what about Church attendance here in the USA? Yesterday, a reporter asked POTUS Trump a question about any contingency plans for locking down cities. He said that those are in place and being refined. Lock downs enforced by Martial Law can happen overnight. That includes shoot-to-kill curfews. I must say, I’ve never in my life heard talk of such things in public in these USA. I’m NOT indulging in scare tactics. Don’t be mad at me. I’m just noting was the CDC has been doing, and what the advised policies are regarding mentioning any of this kind of thing in public. Keep your eyes and ears open.
