Flowers for the Immaculate Conception (This ain’t virtue signaling, edition)

So, just in these last days and weeks, Canada has been following Ireland, so that everything is pretty much wide open, but if there are one or two people in church for Holy Mass (this time a Traditional Latin Mass), all hell breaks out and the Covid Police come to smack people down, chasing altar boys into the sacristy (Yikes!) and parishioners thrown out of the church, the police demanding that they want identifying info to put the offenders on “THE LIST” surely turning into “THE BOOK.”

But will this not turn out to be the Book of Life, with those so listed going to heaven, keeping up with the sacraments?

I’m not bragging with these Flowers for the Immaculate Conception. No. It’s easy for me in far, far, far Western North Carolina. Zero law enforcement officers of any agency could care less about Covid, masks, social distancing, whatever. And we have that on film, multiple agencies in a town meeting with extreme lack of social distancing, none of them wearing a mask. So, it’s easy for me to offer Holy Mass for the past year and a half as normal as normal can be. It’s easy for me to provide all the Sacraments for Jesus’ flock. That’s not to virtue signal. No. Any priest by chance in these parts would do the same, all things being equal, right?

For priests in Ireland, Canada, the Vatican, and elsewhere around the world, things aren’t so easy. There is an outright persecution. Would I be as brave as some of them are in persecution? I’m not going to claim that. That’s about God’s grace, and I have no control over that. Without God’s grace, I’m a total idiot.

So, if I’m doing my rounds to provide the Sacraments and I take a picture of flowers for the Immaculate Conception like the picture up top, it’s also as a gift to her on behalf of those who would do this if they could or are smacked down for trying. So, flowers for you, dearest Mary, from us priests around the world. Show yourself to be a mother to us! Monstra te esse Matrem! We pray for those who are ever so afraid afraid afraid afraid afraid. Hail Mary…

Bill in California: no believers allowed to serve as law enforcement officers

https://thefederalist.com/2021/03/16/california-bill-proposes-removing-cops-who-express-religious-or-conservative-beliefs/

Talk about a way to protect corrupt cops on the take from cartels, mafiosi or even from local idiot politicians who protect mid-level drug and prostitution rackets. LEOs who are believers will be thrown out of law enforcement, while criminals will be hired.

All un-Constitutional you ask? As if that were the end of discussion and it ain’t gonna happen? Since when did we even have a Constitution or a Justice Department that could care less about any Constitution? When did Hillary or Strzok or Comey or Obama or any of these guys be brought up seriously on charges?

Nobody who is anybody in the dark world of corruption is prosecuted, ever. The only ones prosecuted in entirely kangaroo courts are those who thirst for justice and mercy, for a Constitutional Republic with the Rule of Law that is actually followed.

I don’t know the origin of that term “kangaroo courts” but I imagine that it has to do with judges and political correctness, as kangaroos travel in herds of hundreds and even thousands. And yet, it is also applicable to those not granted any due process, such as to those who follow the Constitution of these United States. The pass-time for Aussies is to stand up on the back of a flat-bed truck, holding on to the crash-bar at the back the cab with one hand while holding a rifle in the other (yes…) shooting as many roos and joeys as they can in an afternoon.

Oh! I forgot! The same thing has been happening in the military. Anyone who does not actively persecute particularly believing Catholics is smashed down. And here Catholics were the vast majority of military members.

Oh! I forgot! The same thing has been happening in our intelligence agencies. THE enemy of the State is the guy who loves God and loves neighbor, who respects others by joyfully living the Constitution with the Rule of Law.

Oh! I forgot! There are moves to destroy the Constitution, and legislatures are openly trying to pass laws against the Rule of Law. This is how all societies fail. We are in the very last stage of failure.

But there are always good people who are believers – no matter what – and they will be instruments enabling open love of God and neighbor in a society that protects the same. But when will be smashed down in the process.

As for me, I want to go to heaven, so I couldn’t care less about the being smashed down part. Heaven is forever.

The present idiots get five bucks of corruption money and then go to hell. Their choice.

We pray that all might want to go to heaven. Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory be…

Catholic Church raided Good Friday in SW London by Police

Seriously? Polish? Again? You know why? About the only Catholics going to church in England and Ireland are Polish immigrants who are Catholic. So, the Polish Catholics are made the example.

How do you know those serving are not all living together in the same orphanage? Are the assuming they are live in separate homes? Is this just an excuse to persecute the Catholics in bloody England?

There will always be excuses. Covid-19 idiocy is convenient today.

Why the persecution? It wouldn’t be there if church leadership wasn’t so terribly corrupt. But now people have to push and shove in order to get some witness to the Gospel. Because of the wounds on the risen Body of the Lord Jesus, people have a right to get witness from us. If we don’t given it willingly, it will be taken by force.

Italy’s Covid shuts down Easter, again. El creepo Governor of North Carolina threatens, again.

Days to be shut down absolutely – by force – are Holy Saturday (Easter Vigil), Easter Sunday, and the “Day of the Angel” which is Easter Monday, one of the most respected “days off” in Italy, you know, because Covid itself knows very precisely the timing of Easter each year, even though it’s a different date every year.

Typical persecution of religion by the atheists. After a while, even the most die-hard creepos get tired of their own scare-tactics. Or you would think so. Everyone else has been fed up for more than a year. The second I saw the political discrimination over against religion, but favoring ABC Liquor stores at the same time, I simply opened up the church for a normal schedule with everything normal within a week or two of Easter 2021. Taking away Easter with fraud? Ain’t gonna happen here.

But wait, the el creepo Governor of North Carolina is threatening smack downs, again. Yeah, well, go ahead and try el creepo Governor. It won’t work here.

Anyone offended by the use of “el creepo”? I’ll tell you this, it’s creepy to have anti-Catholic politicians threaten tiny little churches with jack-booted force so as to stop proper worship of Almighty God. Creepy.

We will have Holy Mass during Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum and during Easter Week and onward one way or the other. Guaranteed. If we need to do up Mass Rock logistics like in Ireland back in the day, or Priest Holes (hidden chapels in the walls of houses) like in England back in the day, then that’s what we’ll do.

  • BTW, did you see where Fauci said the other week that the measurement of usefulness of masks falls within statistical margin of error, meaning that it’s completely unknown if masks are useful, or even harmful…
  • BTW, did you see where the Chinese World Health Organization in conjunction with Wuhan Joe said that other week that masks are used to smack down any rebellion of individuals against any governments guidelines rights around the world.

Cancelling 2021 Holy Week and Easter?

In the above Decree of the Congregation for Divine Worship (25 March 2020) referring to a previous Decree (19 March 2020) we now see published what went into effect for Holy Week and Easter of 2020. This is important for 2021. Let’s look at the language:

  • “Bishops and priests may celebrate the rites of Holy Week without the presence of the people..”
    • That’s said regardless of civil restrictions. Interesting. This means that Bishops and priests may celebrate with the presence of the people… regardless of civil restrictions, right?
  • Palm Sunday “is to be celebrated within sacred buildings…”
    • Interesting. That’s like baiting civil authorities…
  • The Chrism Mass can be transferred.
    • Interesting. That makes a difference, I guess… I was excluded last year. It seems like it’s considered that the Chrism Mass in only about a representation of priests for the sake of the oils. I’m concerned about the good of the priests who at that Mass are to renew their priestly promises, and no representation will do for that…
  • Holy Thursday washing of feet is to be omitted.
    • I mean, what does that rite mean anyway, after Pope Francis totally gutted it of its real meaning? At any rate, the omission of this one rite during the Mass of the Lord’s Supper means that people are nevertheless there, right? There’s a faculty to celebrate the Mass of the Lord’s Supper without the presence of the people. But that means that it can be done with the people present, right?
  • Good Friday indications assume that people are there.
    • After all, you cannot limit certain actions just to the priest unless others there are actively being excluded.
  • The Easter Vigil, as always, as normal, is to be celebrated in Cathedral and parish churches.
    • That’s always the case. So…

But that was for 2020. We now, in 2021, have a “Note” having it that the above Decree is still valid for 2021. Since that’s the case, it’s a green light for celebrating Holy Week and the Easter Triduum with the people present, right?

UPSHOT: There is NOTHING in this “Note” or last year’s Decree which has it that Bishops as “moderators” can forbid the celebration of Holy Week and the Easter Triduum. I mean, I’m no “liturgist” or Canon Lawyer, but, truly, I don’t see anything that grants any Bishop the rite to simply cancel Holy Week and the Easter Triduum. Did any of them do that in 2020? Will any do it in 2021? I stand to be corrected, but only by those who have the apostolic mandate to do so, and who are not acting ultra vires, that is, beyond their powers.

JUST MY OPINION but this just seems to be scripted by the fear mongering of the Chinese Communist Party. I mean, after Easter, it will all go back to normal again, right? I mean, we all know that the Wuhan virus is entirely aware of liturgical timing…

LET ME TELL YOU: People are extremely cynical of church leadership regarding sex abuse, regarding money, regarding political correctness. Church leadership out and out mocks Christ Jesus. It pretty much seems that pretty much all of church leadership is Marxist. I mean, to have it that the virus knows liturgical timing is so very….. [I better stop here…]

Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians now with us. How about your parish?

img_20190527_113633_1~24193156266440786633..jpg

We’ve been saying the rosary and other devotions nightly while we have the icon of Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians. Dozens of copies have been making their way around so that parishes might better be in solidarity with our persecuted brothers and sisters.

USA follows Ireland: Zero Religious Freedom

father miguel pro cristero

Father Miguel Pro praying before execution.

It used to be that Ireland followed America. Now we’re following Ireland, filthy, anti-Catholic Ireland. It’s come to my attention that David French at the National Review has reported that:

A state court in Massachusetts has ruled that a Catholic preparatory school violated the state’s antidiscrimination law when it rescinded a job offer to a man because he was married to another man. Matthew Barrett had accepted a job as Food Service Director at the Fontbonne Academy, a Catholic girls school. On his employment forms, he listed his husband as his emergency contact — a move that led the school to rescind the job offer.

But here’s the hypocrisy of all this: At the moment, religious schools are exempt from paying directly into the Obama Abortion Superfund while paying insurance for their employees. To remain exempt, the school must hire almost exclusively Catholic personnel and teach almost exclusively Catholic students.

Now, if the court forces anti-Catholic personnel on the school, it will be said that the school cannot be exempt from paying directly (formal cooperation) into the Abortion Superfund.

This kind of blatant, public hypocrisy turning into open persecution is exactly what happened against the Jews (and I’m 100% Jewish) in Germany leading up to the holocaust, the Shoah. This is your government, people. When it happens, it happens very quickly. From one day to the next.
