    Your tributes to our LEOs always make my heart swell.
    It was heartbreaking to see Jesus’ arm dangling, broken, despised (again). I’d like to know the background story on the smasher.
    This past Monday, I found a flyer under my windshield wiper (while I was in Adoration). The 1st page was a beautiful picture of Mary and Jesus with accompanying prayer of Act of Consecration of the USA. Pages 2 & 3 had stickers of Pres. Trump along with some very innocent looking pictures, but horrible disgusting captions denigrating muslims and immigrants. I turned it in to the church office. It made me sad that Mary & Jesus (and Pres. Trump) were made to be associated with this vileness.

    Father, your above post is about heroes, specifically those in the police force, but since faithful priests, bishops and cardinals also act heroically, especially in times like ours, I hope you do not mind me posting about Cardinal Pell here. He is now in trouble because a letter he wrote to the faithful was published on social media and prisoners here are not allowed any access to social media even via a third party.

    Please pray for him. The decision on his appeal is imminent. He is innocent of the charges brought against him and shouldn’t be in prison.
